Shyam Anand
Software Engineer · Consultant at Pyyne, Stockholm
I'm a software engineer based in Stockholm. Most of my career has been at startups, building things from scratch and figuring out how to scale them when they outgrow the original design. I've been the founding engineer, the VP of Engineering, and everything in between. I spent a few years at Google before deciding Stockholm sounded like a good idea.
I care about distributed systems and getting architecture right early, not just because it's elegant, but because fixing it later is expensive. I'm also a stickler for code quality in a way that annoys some people: I've pushed for Sonar integrations, code review gates, and dedicated Fixit weeks.
I'm currently consulting through Pyyne.
